Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal information Elena Stejko Actors Studio collects through this website, what we use it for and how you can see or correct it.
What We Collect
We collect only what you give us through the forms on this site.
- The enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, what your enquiry is about and your message.
- The booking form: your name, email address and phone number, the class, workshop or session you are requesting, and anything you choose to tell us about your acting experience or needs. For the teen class we also ask for the name and age of the young person attending, given by their parent or caregiver.
- The newsletter box: both forms have a box to tick if you would like the studio newsletter. It is unticked unless you tick it.
When a form is submitted, the website also records the date and time, the page it was sent from, and the internet address and country of the connection. This is used to protect the forms from spam.
What We Use It For
We use your information to answer your enquiry, to manage your booking and to contact you about the class, workshop or session you asked about. We add you to the newsletter list only if you tick the newsletter box, and we do not sell or pass your details to anyone else for their own use.
The Newsletter
If you tick the newsletter box, your name and email address are added to the studio's newsletter list, which is kept with Mailchimp, an email newsletter service based in the United States. The newsletter is about classes, terms and workshops. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to take you off the list at any time.
Where It Is Kept
Enquiries and bookings are stored with the company that hosts this website, Cloudflare, and are sent to the studio by email through an email delivery service, Mailgun. Both are overseas companies, so your information may be held outside New Zealand. Access to the stored enquiries and bookings is protected by a password.
Card Payments
Where this website offers payment by card, the payment is taken on a secure page run by Stripe, a payment company. Your card details go to Stripe and are never seen or stored by this website or by the studio. Stripe tells us only that the payment was made, for which booking, and how much.
Analytics
This website may use Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages are read. Nothing you type into a form, including your name, email address or phone number, is sent to Google Analytics.
Seeing and Correcting Your Information
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it. To do either, or to ask us to delete an enquiry or booking, email actorsstudio@gmx.com or call 021 675 977.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Changes to This Policy
If the way we handle information changes, this page will be updated. It was last reviewed on 4 November 2026.
